It all started WITH A custom oRDEr
Casey Marvin, the owner of Veritas Guitars, received a phone call from Matthew Howard, a new customer who, due to a major unforeseen home issue, needed to make changes to his spending.
Casey discovered that Matthew is a very giving person, especially to his community, and passionate about his job as a worship leader at Life Church in Mobile, Alabama. A couple days after Matthew canceled the order, Casey could not shake the feeling of wanting to help Matthew and his family through this difficult time. He felt like something was telling him to build the guitar for Matthew.
The Veritas team decided to film the process of building Matthew’s guitars, and make a small webisode, but instead the project and trip completely transformed our lives. It became clear to us that this was about more than just giving away product but -at its core- was about being there for someone and helping them through a challenge. A feeling we learned we couldn’t get enough of.

When sharing the video of this amazing experience with our customers, friends and family, the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. People wanted to see more and it inspired us. We realized we wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, beyond just making amazing guitars, and decided to continue this tradition every year.
